Day 1: Fes – Merzouga – Camel ride in Erg Chebbi dunes and night in a camp

Strat your Morocco Sahara Desert, by a pick up directly from the airport or your hotel/Riad

As soon as you take breakfast We will start driving southwards to Ifrane and Azrou by the Middle Atlas mountains. We will stop at cedar forest to see the Barbarian Ape in their natural habitat. Then we continue traveling through the Tizi Ntalghamt pass to Midelt and along the magnificent Ziz Gorges. It is carved and naturally painted through volcanic rock. You’ll  enjoy views of the Middle-Atlas plateau. Noticing how the scenery is changing as long as we are driving further down and approaching Errachidia. After having lunch in a first Berber food’s experience in Errachidia. Our journey of Morocco Sahara Desert will carry on through the Ziz valley Erfoud, Rissani, and Merzouga. After a glass of Berber tea, we will leave the luggage in a room. Then ride the camels to a Berber camp in the middle of Erg Chebbi Sand Dunes. 20 km long and 5 km wide it is also ranked as the highest sand dunes in North Africa. It is a magic and diverse environment and mesmerizing nature that makes you feel as you land on another planet but you are not in a part of the earth. The camel trek lasts for 1hr 30 min from the hotel to the camp. We continue to experience the nomadic Berber lifestyle till we get in a Berber tent. There you will be having a dinner and enjoying the starry sky with a Berber music around the fire. The camp is well equipped providing mattresses, blankets, and cushions.

Day 2: Merzouga – Toudgha Gorges – Dades Valley

The camel man will be there to wake you up in the very morning to watch what will be the best sunrise of your life. Immediately after that, you’ll ride camels peacefully back to your hotel. Getting fascinated and attracted by the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes – changing with the light as the day is rising. After breakfast, you’ll leave for Tinghir and Todra Gorges. They are the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco. Before arriving at Dades Valley for dinner and accommodation.

Day 3: Dades Valley – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – Marrakech

As soon as you have breakfast in the hotel, we’ll drive through the Dades Valley towards Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate. Its a way of thousand Kasbahs which allows you multi opportunities to take some of your best photographic shots of the trip. Then the roses valley and Skoura village. Continue to Ouarzazate, the so-called  “the Hollywood of Africa”. Lunch will be at the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, considered the largest Kasbah in Morocco. After enjoying this UNESCO matrimonial historical site, we continue our journey through the majestic Tizi ‘n’ Tichka pass (2260m) over the High Atlas Mountains. We will be able to have time for several stops and enjoying impressive views even visit the argan oil cooperative. We will reach  Marrakech in the late afternoon.

Day 4: Marrakech Sightseeing

You will have your breakfast in the Riad, and start exploring Marrakech “the red pearl of Morocco”. On this Morocco Sahara Desert, we will make sure that you see the most important sites of historical and cultural interest. Including the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Tower, the Saadian tombs, the Bahia Palace. Then, you have some rest and lunch at a restaurant near the square. After that,  you can walk through the souks and view hundreds of handicrafts. On the afternoon, you will have some free time to wander by yourself the other parts of the city.

Day 5: Transfer to the airport

Taking into consideration your flight departure. We will pick you up at the airport, and that will be the end of our service of Morocco Sahara Desert.
